Cats and sunshine

My cats follow the sunshine around the house. In the late afternoon they can be found on the windowsill at the front of the house. From here not only do they get so hot it's a wonder they don't melt, but they can also keep an eye on who is coming and going. More importantly they can watch for our neighbor's cat who often has the audacity to sit on the windowsill of the same window but outside! Much hurling of cats at the window or screen (if the window is open) and loud unhappy noises always alerts us when this happens.
